A Michigan native, Linda Tracey Brandon is a representational painter based in the Phoenix, Arizona area.  Her awards include two from the Portrait Society of America's prestigious International Competition: a Certificate of Excellence (2006) and an Exceptional Merit Award (2005). She has also won three Finalist awards from The Artist's Magazine and a "Jury's Top 50" award from the Salon International 2007 International Museum of Contemporary Masters at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, Texas.  Additionally, Brandon was a featured artist in the "Faces" Group Exhibition at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona.  Recently, she has participated in the Women Painting Women show at Robert Lange Gallery in Charleston, SC and 'The Expedition and Beyond' show at Principle Gallery in Alexandria, VA.

Brandon is currently represented by Principle Gallery in Alexandria, VA and Abend Gallery in Denver. CO. Her portrait commissions are represented by Portraits Inc. in Birmingham, AL  and Portraits South in Raleigh, NC .

Brandon is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she won recognition for her animated films. She is also a graduate of New York University Law School and formerly practiced law in New York City. Brandon has studied realist art extensively at Scottsdale Artists School in Scottsdale, AZ, where she currently teaches.
