Judge's Comments:This one really struck me right off. I have to admit I have a particular fondess for suggesting a scene rather than painting every single little detail. This painting is a fabulous suggestion of such a simple, everyday scene, but the slice of light makes it truly special! I love the bits of pink contrasting with the green on the front left.
